Long night

(warning: this post may make little sence to those not familiar with RPG video games)

I’m not sure why I was compelled to drink 3 cans of soda yesterday, one of which being at 9:00 at night. Not to mention, I had cookies, candy and Cheez-its for dinner. So needless to say I was up ALL night, so that makes this Monday far more tiring than usual, which is saying something. Though I can’t say it was all bad. After failing to fall asleep I made a fair amount of progress on my game of Final Fantasy IV advance for the game boy advance. Brilliant invention the game boy, small, not noisy, compact, no need for an additional light source, perfect for mid-night playing sessions when everyone else is fast asleep. So from 10:00 to about mid-night I discovered a cave that I had never previously known existed (I have played this same game on the SNES before) And so I was compelled to explore every nook and cranny of this newly discovered dungeon only to discover that it was a cave devoted to improving the equipment and ability of the playable characters that I never use. I do however have a rather annoying habit of complete as much of the game as I possibly can, no matter how completely useless it may be. So regardless of these items being completely useless to my completion of this game I still had to get them all. By the end of this dungeon, that I had to travel about half a dozen times, I was ready to cast Edward into the depths of the magma well and bid him farewell forever. I mean its bad enough that he pathetically runs off screen whenever his ridiculously low amount of HP drops below 400, but it’s required that he be present for the hardest Boss battle in the cave, of course maybe it was only the hardest because he was there… I’m not sure. After having completed the useless item gather (with the exception of finding two megaelixers, YAY!) I headed for the moon to try to defeat Bahamut…again. I think I did eventually fall asleep, some time around 5:00 am so needless to say, am I bit sleepy today…
