Kill that bug!

seeing as how I slept for the majority of the hour yesterday, I thought it would be a good Idea to get some writing done today but I couldn’t think of anything to write about, and the whole manikin thing is just kinda creepy, so while I was sitting at the computer staring into the blank screen trying to think of something my computer decided that it was going to randomly make a really annoying beep/screech sound and it reminded me about something my brother told me a while back so I guess I’ll write about that.

So during a rare moment when my brother and I weren’t fighting he told me about a new cellular ring tone that (for the most part) could only be heard by people 18 or younger, The Mosquito ring tone. I was curious about this new sound so I did some research to find out a little bit more about it and learned why it’s called the mosquito…SO annoying. But I still couldn’t understand why only kids and teens could hear it so with further research I found out that as people get older they lose the ability to hear above 16 Khz, and the Mosquito ring tone’s is played at 17 khz. So even though I now knew why only teens and kids could hear I now of course I had to test it to see it works first hand. so me and my brother went into my parents bedroom, where my parents were watching TV, and got onto the computer to download the mosquito ring tone and turned the volume up pretty loud. Me and my brother flinched when the sound finally started to play and my parents didn’t so much as look in our direction, so we finally asked them if they could hear anything coming from the computer and they said that they couldn’t
People have used this newly found sound against teens and in turn teens have used it against the adults. Many shop owners and fancy restaurant owners broadcast this sound very loudly to repel teens from coming near their shop and teens, in turn, have downloaded this very same sound to alert them when they receive a text message, voice mail or get a call, so that in classrooms, teachers are unlikely to catch them because, odds are, they won’t be able to hear it.
